Help Buckeye learn more about your needs and how to improve our services, rewards and resources.  We want to know what you think, how you feel and what you need so we can continue to provide the quality and services you need.

If you are invited to participate in one of the following member surveys, would you please complete and return it to us so we can better serve you?

  • Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS©) – Our survey partner, SPH Analytics, mails this important survey at random to some of our members each year to help us understand how we are doing overall.
  • Member Experience Survey – This tells us how well we are meeting your needs, what services you are using and how else we can be of service.
  • Customer Service Survey –This is a quick follow-up to find out how well our customer service team met your needs and how we can better serve you in the future.

When your family needs medical attention, know that Buckeye has you covered. Our extensive network of doctors, specialists, hospitals and other healthcare providers is ready to help. Know where to go for the right care, at the right place, at the right time.

doctor iconYour doctor is your main healthcare provider for routine exams and care. Call your doctor’s office to schedule a visit for:

  • Annual wellness exams
  • Vaccinations
  • Colds, flu, and fevers
  • General advice about your overall health
  • Ongoing support for health conditions like asthma or diabetes

PA iconIn-store clinics in your neighborhood can help with minor health needs including a cold, congestion, sore throat and ear pain. The clinics are staffed by physician assistants or nurse practitioners. Use them when you can’t get to your doctor’s office.

urgent care iconUse urgent care when your doctor’s office is closed and you have a sudden health need that is non-life-threatening like the flu, ear infection, high fever or a sprain or injury.

ambulance iconGo to the emergency room or call 911 for serious and life-threatening medical conditions such as:

  • Broken bones or severe injury
  • Bleeding that won’t stop
  • Drug overdose
  • Ingested poison
  • Bad burns
  • Seizures
  • Chest pain

When you need to see the doctor right away, Buckeye makes it easier. Virtual appointments via telehealth are covered at no cost to you.

See a doctor from anywhere – by using a computer, tablet or phone. With telehealth, your doctor can answer questions, give a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan to help you get healthy and stay healthy.

It is important to understand your health condition and treatment plan. We understand that health information can be challenging. In fact, nine out of ten people struggle to understand and use health information.1

Buckeye’s 24-Hour Nurse Advice Line is a free service that lets you speak directly to a registered nurse. Call any time, day or night for help:

  • Finding a doctor
  • Determining the best place to go for care
  • Scheduling transportation
  • Understanding your health condition or diagnosis
  • Help with medical forms
  • Understanding treatment options
  • Dealing with side effects of medications
  • And more!

Buckeye provides members with extra benefits and rewards including $0 co-pays, free transportation to and from appointments, and connections to community resources for housing, food, utilities, job training and more. Plus, our My Health Pays® rewards program gives you rewards dollars for completing healthy activities like getting your flu shot or completing your annual well visit.
